The Practice was pleased to have supported the 5th FORCE Annual Awards Dinner 2007, held this year at the RICOH Arena, Coventry.
Coventry and Warwickshire's biggest achievements in construction were honoured at the industry's own 'Oscars'.
The FORCE (Forum for Constructing Excellence) Awards, now in its fifth year, were held at the RICOH Arena and a number of local firms and projects picked up awards. System.
Chairman of FORCE Dhiran Vagdia, said: "It was another wonderful occasion and, once again, we could honour some magnificent achievements.
"There were winners from right across the region – all of which were extremely deserving after coming up against some very stiff competition."He added: "It is only right that we pay tribute to everything that is great about construction in this area – be it personal or collective."
"We are pleased for each and every award winner – as well as every other person connected with construction present at the awards - we were really celebrating all of their achievements."
St Andrew’s House is a residential home for the elderly, owned and run by the Coventry and District Free Church Homes for the Elderly, a registered charity.
St Andrew’s House provides residential care for all in a Christian environment. In 2002 new care standards were introduced and these have significant implications for the Home.
Consequently, it is now necessary for the Home to raise in excess of £2 million to provide additional facilities including larger bedrooms with en-suite. Unless the Home is updated, it may be forced to close and bring to an end over fifty years history of care work.
Helen Ley Home was the first specialist respite home for people with Multiple Sclerosis in the United Kingdom.
The most recent upgrade has been the £1.6m upgrade development, which included the reconfiguration of the existing dated bedrooms and the addition of new 14-ensuite-rooms.
